Is it sad that I'm 32 years old and I can recognize what movie the bottom picture is from but not the top? (For the record, I thought Camp was a pretty horrible movie except for the musical numbers, especially the one that opens the movie.)
The thing about Camp is it was incredibly familiar and recognizable. Being only marginally involved in show choir in high school and musical theater in college, I still knew those people. I found myself getting unreasonably upset at the characters. Watie kept asking me if we needed to turn it off.

so i tried to watch camp last night. i only got through an hour. it was so horrible. so horrible! blech.
