Don't let Tim Burton hear about this

So I was chatting with my friend Mattias and he told me that in Sweden for Easter they eat a lot of eggs. Also, the children dress up as witches and go door to door asking for candy. I asked if they had the Easter Bunny. "Yes," he replied. "But not so much. Mostly witches."

Pretty cool. I just googled sweden easter witch and read a few articles about it. Personally, I've always admired the approach to Easter in Cutud, Philippines - where they whip themselves and get nailed to crosses.
